The Mike Mo shoe was the first real opportunity to recapture the identity of DC as a technical skate brand. With the foundation laid and knowledge gained from creating the Unilite Trainer, we set an ambitious goal to create an authentic technical skate shoe. We defined the desired features through conversations with Mike Mo and used the most innovative technologies at our disposal to create a modern shoe that was designed from the inside out. Through intense collaboration with marketing and development, we delivered a high performance, durable shoe that was the catalyst for the birth of the modern day DC skate category.
